The more people queef-post about Glee on Tumblr, the less I want to watch it.

I have a natural tendency to shy away from anything people rave about.

 You should just watch it once, it’s the most amazing show I’ve ever seen and has managed to make me cry on four separate occasions..

I’m a Project Manager for a Consulting Firm. My job is to find out if the service you have is the best possible service with the best possible rate structure.

Now imagine I have a client with Vendor X that is offering said rate to existing client at.. lets just say $2,000.00/month. Now say client has been with Vendor X for over 3 years, and Vendor X is refusing to drop the rate, and also refusing to communicate with me.

In comes Vendor XY saying, they’ll do the same job for $1,000.00/month, giving the client a $12,000/year savings. Now say we send Vendor X a cancellation notice.

now. Vendor X gets mad and sends an email to the President of the our client stating we aren’t doing our job and that Vendor X offers the best service for the best price. Vendor X also goes as far as telling the President that I do not have the best interest of the client in mind.

This is how my day started at 7:45am.

I’m beyond livid that Vendor X would do this, this is such poor business practice I cannot even begin to explain. The good news is I always cross my t’s and dot my i’s because I sent an email back to the President and explained our process and why we recommended Vendor XY, hopefully they will see it in my favor.
