Last night was our good friend Alex’s 35th Birthday. So naturally it was a night of food and debauchery.
The night started at Seven Bridges, the food was awful, I had to send my plate back and I never send food back..
Then we went to Intuition Ale Works which I guess is a microbrewery, so no vodka crans for me..
We are there all of five minutes and two people notice me and say they know me but I don’t remember them.
Then Alex tricked us to going to Eclipse (Adam and I actually met at this bar) but I hate Eclipse..
Needless to say walked in and Burt told the door guy not to charge me, he gave me a huge hug when I walked in and said, “we’ve missed you” then the bartender Aaron said, “the usual?” you guys it’s been over two years since I’ve been here..
Well several shots later and several dozen vodka crans and Aaron says, “I see you haven’t lost your touch!”
Ha never!!
So I drank and I danced and at one point Adam was dancing and it hit me that my life with him started here and I cried a little. Not annoying girl at bar crying just a few tears of “god I love this man”
Then the ugly lights came on, I haven’t partied till ugly lights in a loooong time.. So the guy is all whisking people out and he looks at me and I like “don’t you know who I am? I don’t leave with the riff raff” clearly he was new! Yeah we stayed
Folks we topped the night off with a 3am run to Krystal’s, now I’ve never had Krystal’s so I didn’t know what I was in for, but I gorged..
Perfect night!! Cept the food part
Ugly lights- the bright lights that come on at a bar/club when it’s closed and people are kicked the fuck out and you suddenly realize the person/people you thought were hot aren’t
